goldstray locaton: state-of-play

(this is the first-ever iteration of the menu screen for the game; it was created at the beginning of the project when it was still meant to be a sequel to One Night At Nick's Mom's House. The game has no relation to that now... or does it. )
Hello, all the Goldstray Location fans! I have some exciting news to share today!

I want to be more transparent about the game and its development, it has been over a year of growth, and I have been good about not sharing any information about the game.  This is good for not spoiling the fun but unsuitable for the fans waiting for it. From now on, I will share more information about the game and go into a bit of the plot without spoiling any crucial information.

Goldstray Location is a thrilling horror game that takes place inside a mysterious and abandoned munitions factory. As a VanBuren officer, you are sent to investigate the factory when it suddenly goes offline. As you explore the dark and ominous building, you must evade a dangerous woman in a blue dress named Alexis, who is chasing you. Armed with only a flashlight and a security laptop, you must survive for several hours by scaring away Alexis and hiding from the dangerous Goldstray alternate.

As you progress through the game, you will use the security laptop to seal off vents and prevent the Goldstray alternates from reaching you. The game offers three difficulty levels, and the challenge increases as you advance through the levels. With an intriguing plot, realistic sound effects, and stunning graphics, Goldstray Location is a must-play game for fans of the horror genre.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few months back, I fully completed the plot for the game; since the beginning of the development, the story has been a bit fuzzy. So I went back and improved everything, making it more cohesive and understandable. This game has so much story and also so much background story for you to figure out after playing the game.  Right now, the whole game is varying in completion. Some parts barely have anything besides placeholder sprites and a few functions, while others are finished and ready for polishing. Aspects of this game are challenging to program because it is meant to look like a 3d game inside a 2d engine. Another thing, this game has transformed; it is no longer a fnaf fan game, really.  Some so many other mechanics are different from the ones in fnaf in this game. This game has transformed into its entirely own thing.

This is what the game's map first looked like; it is entirely different now.

This is what the map is like now for the first half of the game. The section labeled "storage closet #1" is now the entrance to the second half of the game.  I added a vast area to the map. For the second half of the game, I went to several warehouses to take notes on how it should be modeled.

That's all for today; I hope to finish the game this year. It is going to be great. Also, the game will probably be free, but I will allow people to donate. Money is not the main reason I am making this, but if I get 100 dollars from the game, I'm putting it on Steam.
